Matenrou Opera cancels EU tour due to lack of security
Dear VK bands of Japan,
FCUK YOU! :)
For years I have been supporting you all. I travelled Europe to see you/meet you & spent quite an amount. I mean I was one of the very few ones to see Merry, Kagrra, Dir en Grey, Distraught Overlord and many-many others.
You Guys simply exist, because we (=international) fans actually support you by buying your albums, literally keeping you alive.
Last year, I was to see Merry 2nd time in my life, after 10 years since their (& my) 1st gig in 2006. This was my 1st gig I went to Munich, it was like a good memory. I wish to refresh it with my wife.
We bought every tickets including plane, hotel, booking my abscence at the office.
Yet less than a month before the gig, Merry called it off for the same reason.
And now Matenrou Opera.
Needless to say, hundreds of fans will suffer again from the same issue: they have their tickets, planes, hotels, everything booked for that gig. They looked forward to it. And they have been deceived.
Some crazy, scarycat bastards are afraid to leave their place and come to the unknown. I am sorry to say, but terror acts/disasters will always happen. It cannot be a real cause. It has never been a cause to Coldplay, Depeche Mode, Linkin Park, Metallica and all the way long I could mention the legends.
Yet, nameless little bands to hide behind this cause.
I am sorry to say, but then do not even bother coming here again.
More than a year passed since my fiasco with Merry - never since I listened to them again. Even though I own all their albums before (yes, original, purchased, physical form)...
Well, the same for Matenrou Opera
